Orbitz Informative - Terrible Customer Service
I recently booked flights through Orbitz with their trip protection because I new it was highly likely that I would need to change my reservation. I called today to do so and was informed that trip protection only covers highly unlikely circumstances including, just to name a few, if my Husband and I were hijacked, if we died, or if the airline went bankrupt. I was informed of a change fee, but if I cancelled my reservation and purchased a new one that I could use the entire cost of my last ticket towards a new one. I was never informed by my barely English speaking customer service representative that even though I cancelled I would still be charged 130 dollars per passenger change fee. I spoke with many customer service representatives and they all basically said "Screw You". They have done nothing to try and resolve this issue. I will absolutely never use Orbitz again.
