Greentree Transmission Warehouse Complaint - Getting ready for legal action

Review by clark.dr@mellon.com on 2002-04-16
BLACKWOOD, NEW JERSEY -- I am aggrivated and stressed out about the way Greentree conducts business. My car is destroyed and was never correctly repaired. I have sent many letter out today asking for help getting my money back and my car back. I am contacting an attorney in a few weeks. I want this matter resolved. I don't ever want to deal with Greentree again. I have sent letters to many friends about Greentree. My husband has warrned all of his clients about Greentree.

I want a full refund of $954.00, my new mechanic paid as promissed, $2,500.00 for all expences caused becuase of Greentree. Or I want a total of $11,000. to cover the cost of my destoryed car plus expenses. I will not except any further repair promisses from Greentree@!!!!!

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.

Why do you keep saying your car was destroyed?

Please consult a dictionary the next time you send out one of your many letters.

How did a transmission problem destroy your car?
Posted by Anonymous on 2002-04-18:
My car is destroyed because before I brought it to Greentree it was in perfect condition with 67,000 mile on it. The transmission was slipping. After Greentree had it, it was covered in grease inside and out, the muffler was smashed, the antenna was broken, the CD player doesnít work, the power door lock doesnít work, the transmission they gave me is bad, the timing belt is shot, it now has 68,300 miles on it, and because it was sitting for so long, it probably needs a new paint job and tires.

I donít car about spelling at this point, I donít care if every word is spelled wrong.

It seems a little hard to believe that your car was sitting so long that it needs new paint and tires.

Maybe it doesnít need new paint and tires, but my mechanic knows what it does need. When I get the total run down, Iíll give it to my attorney, and hopefully, I can finally get my car back on the road.
