Breakfast-Nooks.com Complaint - Promised replacement of damaged merchandise

YUBA CITY, CALIFORNIA -- This store absolutely sucks! I ordered the Lakehouse-Nook table set. When it arrived it had cracks and splits in the wood of the table top and scratches and chips of wood missing from the benches. I contacted Jim, the company representative who told me he would send replacement pieces for the damaged ones. At this point I should have returned the piece of crap immediately but since I paid $250.00 for shipping I decided to let him replace the pieces. He never did. The table got worse and has splintered and bubbled all over. I asked him to just let me return it now. I would eat the shipping cost to and from just to be done with it. He told me twice via e-mail that the replacements were on their way and there was no need to return it. Now he has stopped taking my calls or responding to my e-mails. Obviously he has no intention of refunding my money for crappy merchandise or replacing it. I have every copy of the e-mails he sent along with copies of the pictures I sent him the day the set arrived. I hope anyone who reads this is spared from doing business with this company.
