Direct TV Complaint - Contracts and DVR replacements
I had signed up for 2yr service with Direct TV Sattelite. After 13 mos of service and 4 DVR's that didn't work properly I cancelled my service.
Customer Service Representives and Supervisors gave me "off the wall" answers to my questions and each time from the 2nd mo. of service offered to replace the offending DVR. Now I have been told that I owe many dollars for cancelling a service that could not provide what they promised. They threatened to "ruin my credit", double what I owed, and one supervisor stated "you will be surprised what we will do to you". I have politely requested anything in writing, including the contract that one supervisor stated I had agreed to which was HD television. I don't even have HD equipment and certainly never signed up for 2 more years of this terrible service. I just had to vent somewhere as I am exhausted with speaking with Customer Representatives that will say anything to get off the phone or transfer me to another department or hand up on me.
