Levitt and Sons Informative - Levitt and Sons Marketing Problems

MURRELLS INLET, SOUTH CAROLINA -- While Levitt's SC development called Seasons at Prince Creek West appears to be trying hard to please the small number of total buyers that are already living there (according to testimonials from some of the current residents), Levitt may be overerly eager to sell/build out the remaining homes of the 460 total. According to people who work for Levitt at that location, there is a "new crew" of workers that have nothing to do with the crew who built the "mold problem" homes in Florida.

However, I was offered the one lot (#201) that I wanted, and given a deposit receipt (with no Levitt contingencies) for $5,000, while being verbally told that as much as the lot was not officially released from the current deposit holder, she wanted out, and it was just a "formality" until the lot was mine. This was not true as the former owner changed her mind just before I sent in the legal documents to buy that lot, but after I committed to a $15,000 kitchen remodeling job on my current home in order to get it ready for sale. I'm not sure why you proceeded in this transaction with only a verbal approval. It seems to be your mistake that you didn't get everything in writing, so you are as much to blame as Levitt & Sons.
