Round Table Pizza Complaint - Poor Customer Service
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA -- I am writing to tell you about a very bad experience I encountered at your pizza chain on 31878 Del Obispo Street, San Juan Capistrano, Ca. I went into your resturaunt with 3 of my close friends, and we all decided on the 'lunch special'. When ordering, the Cashier informed us that we could not order the lunch special because it was not 'lunch time'. It was almost 5:00 pm. Now, we were the only ones inside, and we said that this was our lunch, and nowhere on the sign did it specify a time. At this point she got very, very rude with us. What ever happened to the customer always being right? Now i understand promotions for certain times, but nowhere did it say a time on the sign, and I think that in order to delight your guests exceptions should be made- the resturaunt was dead and they would have made over $20 on food. The sign was false advertising and very misleading. Working in retail, I know that it is very important to make sure no guest leaves unsatisfied. I guess that is not important to your chain. We ended up leaving unsatisfied and went to a dine-in pizza hut which offered much nicer customer service, no to mention we ended up getting twice as much food for almost half we would have spent at Round Table. I love the quality of your pizza and I get home deliveries weekly, but I had serious doubts about supporting your chain.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Better coaching for your employees on guest delight and how to treat customers, I will never dine-in at another Round table that offers such poor service, especially when your their only customer in the place! Nothing can be done to make up my time that was lost.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
