Los Angeles Times Complaint - Services cut, no compensation

Review by genki3 on 2007-04-18
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- The Times used to be a great newspaper! It has been going downhill lately (I know about the various selling/buying news).

I have tolerated the disintegration but its recent cessation of the TV guide made me angry; first they said they would send a TV guide in the mail since they were not going to publish it in the Sunday paper anymore. (six or seven issues and then GONE).

Then they suggest going online and print out what you want OR you can subscribe to the TV GUIDE publication.....helpful? Not much. Offer the customer less and charge the same amount! I had to correct faulty information they were offering online--no response.

Finally, they left me no choice---I cancelled.

Not sure on the reasoning, but many newspapers have stopped putting TV listings in, becuase many people have satellite dishes or detailed cable packages that have too many channels to track.
