Robinsons May Complaint - Applying for a Job - Personnel Department

Review by SweetOceanBlue77 on 2002-04-17
TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA -- I went to apply for employment, and after my application was completed, I had an interview. However, during the later part of the interview I was told that there's a no re-hire policy? I was never shown that in writing, and I relocated due to marriage. I totally think this was unjust. I would like to see something in writing regarding this no re-hire policy. There was nothing posted stating this at all. I'm very appalled by this.

Yes, RobinsonsMay has a no rehire policy. But If you were very well liked, they would rehire you. It's all about politics. They gave you an interview because it is their policy to give EVERYONE an interview. As an employee, I feel horrible for the applicant because they get excited that they were given an interview but then they are let down when they say stuff like your not rehireable or we don't have any positions open at this time. Robinsons May is not the best place to work at. You are over worked and the pay is horrible. Usually 10 to 15 cents above minimum wage. Trust me you are Lucky they didn't rehire you. Try Macy's.
