Lifestyle Fitness Complaint - Lifestyle Fitness Can Suck It

Review by hounddogmk on 2007-04-19
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Thinking of joining lifestyle fitness... Think again. Never before have I been treated so rudely by someone I wanted to give my money to. As an avid gym goer for several years I stopped in the Columbus, Easton location to check out the facilities. I was then referred to an old crow who looked like she had never worked out a day in her life. She quickly tried selling me a membership without giving me a tour or letting me look around. I asked several times to see the amenities but was repeatedly denied. I was told I could not look around until after I had signed a contract. When I politely expressed the fact that I was not going to sign anything until I could at least see the gym she told me to go ahead and walk outside to the adjoining parking garage where I could look through some windows like a stalker if I wanted to see the gym. This is no lie. I've belonged to several gyms over the last 15 years and it is obvious this company is worried soley about your money and not your fitness experience. Take some advise and shop around. There are plenty of gyms that offer the same ammenities for less money with a more pleasant staff.

Perhaps they did not want you to see their gym because they have none or because they have a bad gym and know that if you saw their gym that you would not want to be a member. Don't join with them because they are too ashamed and embarased to show you their crappy gym. (That is if they have one at all and are not trying to lie to you and rip you off.)
