Grandvalley Dental Informative - Customer Care

Review by blondy on 2007-04-20
GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN -- On Monday the 16th of April, I went in for a tooth distraction and the dentist denied my insurance and he was very disrespectful to myself and told me I would have to pay out of my pocket. He would not listen to me on what I needed done in my mouth. Now my mouth is swollen because he did nothing about it. I had to go and get it pulled out by an oral surgeon. At least they asked me what I would like done with it. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone no matter how bad their in need.

Healthcare providers will only accept insurances that they participate in. You should have ask the receptionist what other dentist in the area that will accept your insurance.

Blondy, you say, "He would not listen to me on what I needed done in my mouth." I sure hope not. He is a trained medical professional. He will do what is right. Pulling a tooth out because it hurts can be a pretty dumb idea. There can be many ways to treat the inflamed tooth. He sounds like an ethical dentist that just wouldn't pull out a perfectly good tooth.

A tooth distraction?

How can anyone validate your review blondy? You went to the dental clinic to get an extraction not a distraction. And you used "their" instead of the contraction "the're" at the end of your statement. If you are going to show such a disregard for the English language and a flagrant lack of education, I can only assume it was your fault for the incident described.
