Ed & Ollie's Diner Informative - False Advertising - Server of Breakfast

Review by keeg on 2007-04-22
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA -- Ed & Ollie's Diner in Boynton Beach Florida at 1313 west Boynton Beach Blvd had an Ad for their Breakfast Special and it did not say that it was not good on Saturday. I went there and they refused to honor there Ad even though I was there when the Ad stated the special was active. I drove there and had to go somewhere else.

Thank you

Are you sure it's false advertising, and not I read the breakfast special wrong so I want the deal anyway even if I am wrong.

I, along with my wife, own Ed and Ollies. The breakfast special that the gentleman refers to is a $2.50 breakfast, on Saturday we charge $3.50. So now you can see we are dealing with Mr. Cheap, What can you get for $3.50 these days? I know it is a very good deal, and I know the food is good. All some people know is to complain, such a shame, life could be so much better.

This is a legitimate complaint, IF the ad did not state that the special was not good on Saturday. It not necessarily the amount of $, but the principle of the matter.

jndathip: if there was no mention of the ad not being good for Saturday, the poster is well within his rights to complain and not a cheapskate.
