McAllister's Deli Compliment - Delighted with McAllister's Deli

SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS -- My husband and I visited the McAllister's Deli in Southlake, TX on 4/21. We placed our order and sat chatting, waiting for it to be delivered. We realized that it had been 15-20 minutes, and still no food, although everyone around us had been served. I went and found a young woman restocking supplies and told her of our situation. She immediately took ownership of the problem and went to resolve it.

Within 2 minutes we had a manager at our table apologizing for the delay and explaining that our order had been placed under a large order and missed. He also gave us a letter of apology with a coupon for two free meals and drinks upon our next visit. Then within another few minutes he delivered our food to us.

We certainly never expected any compensation, just wanted to check on the status of our food. I am very impressed with their speedy problem resolution and their desire keep customers satisfied. Their excellent service (and good food) explains why they are always busy!

The food has always been very good, and usually the service is too, guess they just had an off moment!

Well, isn't that a rarity? Someone who realizes that even the best restaurants can have a bad 'moment'! Usually I see posts from people who have patronized a place for years without incident, when suddenly there's a bad experience and they start demanding the world or it's the end!
McAllister's food is always great and it doesn't surprise me that they would go that extra mile for a customer.

Demonoid, NO DOUBT! I agree 100% that some think it's the end when they first encounter bad service.
