BP Gas Station Informative - Attendant in the Store

Review by Hope13 on 2007-04-24
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I paid for a car wash and after sitting in line for 20 minutes the wash did not work. I then went into the store and asked to get a coupon so that I could meet my friend for dinner and then come back. The attendant Willy refused and was rude. He knew that I paid - told me in front of several customers that it was tough and there was nothing he would do to help me. I realize that it was only $4, but the rudeness of this employee was appalling. BP should be ashamed of itself hiring people like this.

Did he only have one eye?
The person has probably has nothing to do with BP. It is the most likely the gas station dealer that hired the person, or it may have even been the dealer himself. BP just delivers the gas. Having dealt with gas station dealers for a year or so through my work, a lot of them are not the most honest people. I would take it as a loss and never use them again.

Coupon? We get tokens a paasword or pay at the wash at most places here. Willy, can you give us your side of the story please?

Agree Z, we usually get a code when I go to them. I worked with an agency that regulated them and a lot of them gave me the run around, more so than other businesses it seemed. They didn't really maintain their equipment and were more concerned about the bottom line. I'm guessing the customer service part of the industry is slacking off since everybody pays at the pump now.
