Mercury Insurance Informative - Mercury Insurance - Too busy to hear you out.

ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I was insured with Mercury for a total of three years with just minor customer service complaints, as usual, you are dealing with people. A couple of weeks ago I received a letter that they would not renew my current policy because one of my cars needed and inspection. Well I did the inspection and my broker sent it to Mercury and guess what they called me back to tell me that they did not renew the policy because they received the paperwork too late, company policies he explain but I am guessing it got lost on the way to Jupiter!!! I called customer service and this arrogant and ignorant rep. told me that there is nothing they can do and to contact my broker and my broker told me to contact them. Guess what Mercury keep doing business like this and you will have to move to the moon and insured green aliens!

Insurance companies suck... and yea when they want to get rid of someone they have a whole bunch of legal tricks they can play... this is one of them. If you find the letter they sent you stating that they wouldn't renew you due to the inspections there should be a section there letting you know that you had until whatever date to inspect the vehicles. If it does then don't even try fighting them because it'll be a waste of your time. I know... I used to work for one of them....
