US Airways Complaint - Complete Failure in Customer Service
LOGAN AIRPORT, MASSACHUSETTS -- I arrived in Boston on a flight from Phoenix on Monday night. At baggage claim, I saw a sea of unclaimed bags just piled throughout the terminal...hundreds of bags that had been separated from their owners just sat there completely unattended. My bag never arrived from Phoenix so I filed a lost baggage report. Two days later, I have not received one single update from US Airways regarding the status of my bag. I have called and called every customer service and baggage claim number that I can get my hands on. No one will help me. All the reps just check the same website that I am also checking. No one in Boston's US Airways baggage claim office will even answer the telephone. For two days, the phone has just rung and rung. I called Logan Airport customer service and the rep told me that USAirways never answers the phone but she gave me another number to try. I tried it three times, each time someone picked up after several rings and just slammed the phone back down.
I am so appalled at the complete system failure. I will never ever fly US Airways again and I will tell everyone I know about my experience including all of the Wall Street analysts and business reporters that cover this airline. The reality is that NO ONE at USAirways gives a damn if I find my bag or not.
