MetroPCS Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
METRO DETROIT, MICHIGAN -- The good thing about MetroPCS is you know what the bill will be every month - unlike Sprint who will claim you went over your minutes even if you don't use the phone, but that's a different complaint.
The bad is very limited service areas, at least in the Detroit area, and they charge extra for everything (want a paper bill? $2.00/month. Want to call information? 95 cents/call or $2.00/month. Want to pay by phone or in person? $3.00 charge for PAYING THE BILL). If you have a problem then you may as well just throw the phone away. Their customer service is unreachable, if you do reach them some of the rep.s want to help but they have ZERO authority to do anything, and if you ask for a supervisor they will either hang up, put you on hold for 30 minutes, tell you no one is available, or put you into voice mail where no one will ever call back (last time I tried the supervisor's voice mail was FULL!).
Stay away from MetroPCS. You're probably better off with a prepaid phone than dealing with these people.
