Netbank Complaint - Netbank bad experience - savings account

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Two strikes against netbank:
First, I signed up mostly because they offered
a $100 bonus if I opened an account and kept
it funded for a few months. I did so, and at
the end of it, they said I did not qualify for the money. I still don't know why.
So I left the money in about a year, and when I
finally got around to withdrawing it, I found
it had been nibbled away substantially by $5 per month inactivity fees. They send monthly statement announcements by email, but I did not look at them because I was not using the account. If they were ethical they would have notified me by email that the fees were about to start. But no, they just charge the fee and wait for you to notice.

You state you did not open the emails because you were not using the account. Then state then should have notified you by email that fees were to start. What good would that have done...you weren't reading them anyway.

That is the same thing happened to me. They told me that they were not able to find the record of the $100 promotion for my account and nibbled away fee on my account for 10 months. Practically, I lost $50 to them. Now they deserve all those negative feedbacks.
