Charter Communication Complaint - Billing and Payment
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI -- My phone was disconnected so I called to find out what needed to be paid to restore service. I was told to pay the amount of $175.81, I paid this amount at the payment station and was told that my service will be reconnected in 2 to 24 hour the next day has arrived an I still don't have service. I called customer service once again now I am being told to pay and addition amount of $97.91 in order to restore service. I am a very unhappy customer and I want my voice to be heard on this matter, because it seems like a scam to me if I call and was told to pay one amount it looks like the money I paid at first was just the secure deposit to make sure that I pay. I have a responsibility for paying my bills I know that but when your misinformed by the company that you have service with it really hits you below the belt because I would not have wasted my time paying one amount when I know that more money would be due before I could have my service reconnected. Please Charter make yourself clear when speaking with your customers don't double talk then your customer will always be unhappy with your service. What happen to the old saying the customers always right.
