CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I purchased a Dell Lap Top about a year ago. I have had no troubles with the lap top itself, but I have to wonder what this company was thinking when they decided to change their hardware without compatible equipment to go with it. I bought my lap top with the intention of purchasing an air card from a mobil phone company in order to be able to work on my lap top from any where, without a hard line connection or a wi-fi signal. Why on earth did the Dell Corporation choose to change the size of the air card slot, when no one makes a compatible air card to fit. My first thought was to return the lap top, but I was told by the Dell Corporation that the mobil phone companies were about to release the new air card express (to fit the smaller air card slot) being put on their lap tops. To date I have not been able to find a company that sells an air card that fits the slot that is currently on my lap top, which severely hinders my options when working online. Not Smart. If you want to be mobil with your lap top think twice about buying a Dell.
