Royal Gorge Route Railroad Complaint - Poor Service - Coach

Review by what happened to the royal gorge route on 2007-05-06
We were on this trip last month and had a great time. excellent atmosphere, employees. This week we went with other relatives and were embarrassed by the gentlemen attendants. They were taking up the riverside spots on the open air car - my son could not get see. one of the attendants had such bad body odor. very unappealing. The staff in the concession car was great, I think same as before. but a paying guest should not have to fight with an employee for a spot on the open air car. We were out there the whole trip and not once did these men do anything but hog the riverside spots. Unreal!

A fair complaint. Why would the staff need to be sitting where the best views are? I would write the company relations department and let them know. They may issue a mandate to employees, especially if you aren't the only one who complains about it.

Where are you talking about, Colorado? If so I remember when we went on it we paid for better seating. Is that option gone? I think we used first class parlor seating and had great seats. Maybe you bought coach and it was a take what you get? Agreed the odor sum workers should not have been in the best seats and if I was there I probably would have said something. But that's me.
