Harbor Monsoon Restaurant Complaint - Bad Service - Worse Food
GIG HARBOR, WASHINGTON -- My family & I have eaten at the Harbor Monsoon restaurant in Gig Harbor for 10 years and always enjoyed it. Tonight? The service was awful & the food? We had a hitchhiker - a fly in our soup!!!
After picking up our take-out order of almost $100, we found upon inspection at home that a dish was missing. I phoned the restaurant to let them know there was a problem & was told to count the boxes??? I know what I ordered & I knew the Fried Rice wasn't there.
While I was on the phone with the owner - Chef Louie - my daughter was dishing up her soup and found a small fly in the soup. Quickly, I became restaurant enemy #1 - I was told "you don't put this one on me!"
In fairness, Chef Louie angrily told me if I wanted to, I could come back for the rice. No thanks - I don't know what else might be in there.
I honestly don't need a free meal - just wanted the one I paid for... Chef Louie must believe the customer is always wrong, right?!
