T-Mobile Informative - T-mobile customer service, what to do?
CALIFORNIA -- My boyfriend just went from a sidekick 2 to a sidekick 3. He was excited about it because he really liked his sidekick 2 but it was getting old and been thru alot and was time for a upgrade. A couple months after we bought the sidekick 3 the screen went black for no apparent reason, he took good care of it no physical damage. So he called t-mobile and talked to them for about two hours and they told him they would give him a new phone and promised him a whole bunch of other stuff, all he had to do was turn in his damage one and they would send him a brand new one. So he sent it in, waited three weeks got the box from t-mobile he was very excited to start using his new phone he had been waiting three weeks to get it. But when he opened the box it was the old phone and they said they couldn't exchange it because it had liquid damage. How would it have liquid damage? there was no liquid damages no liquids have touched this phone. He was very angry so he called again but they wouldn't do anything. I began to email them but there customer service is pathetic and would just say sorry but wouldn't offer any help. When they did try to help they sent me phone numbers that was invalid. There is still a warranty on this phone. Is there anyway to get it replaced?
