A-1 RIVOLI Complaint - Failed to fix - computer repair

WEST HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK -- I brought my computer to be repaired to this company with parts I received by Dell. After investigation, I was told I needed a processor. I ordered one from Dell and delivered it to the store. They had my comuterfor a week and it was supposed to be fixed by Friday. I called and was told they hadn't finished and I should wait 1/2 hour.I went to the store to wait. Finally at almost 5:45pm my tower was brought out and put in my car.I checked to make sure all Dell parts were returned to their boxes and matched to invoices. One invoice and packing label were missing. I went to pay the bill, $184.45! He didn't want me to leave without my computer so he put in a memory card so the computer would work.Hurray!!! I paid and left. I got home, plugged everything back in and the computer didn't work.I called back the shop and it was closed. The rest is history. What I want is to be paid back for the memory card which he installed without my permission and which he said he would switch when I received the part from Dell. He claims he doesn't take parts back.....so why bother to mention switching anything if I own the part???? When I spoke to him the next day about the fact that thecomputer didn't work, he said it must be a software problem. He had the machine for a week, was paid over $180,and didn't repair it, and won't take back a part that was not authorized!!!!
