McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Order from Memory? No Palm Springs, Ca. SPEAKER, good grief!
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA -- RE: NO PALM SPRINGS, CA. SPEAKER! GOOD GRIEF!
I don't normally go to McDonalds but last week, I did go to McDonalds. Drove up to the menu. No speaker there (or broke?) Had to drive AWAY from the board to the next window where the girl was to place my order but couldn't remember all that I saw on the board that I wanted to order. I was a little dumbfounded, & embarassed... I told the girl... "hmmm can't rememeber everything I was suppose to order...how can you remember all that you want to order once you pull AWAY from the menu board..(When I got home, I realized I had forgotten to order the apples w/caramel for everyone. Oh well, so be it.
Went in a few days ago, & again, reeeeealy thought this was verrrrrry strange when I pulled away from the menu board to the forward window. Again, told a DIFFERENT girl, this did not seem right; she seem flustered. I told her, "How can we remember all that we want to order when we don't have the menu in front of us? Can you imagine, going to a restaurant with several people, looking at the menu, closing it, & trying to remember what you wanted for everyone (from MEMORY) when the waitress arrived? I don't think so.
Tonight, I came home, and heard my husband telling someone on the phone, "how in the world can you remember what you want to order when you don't have a speaker in front of the board". I knew right away that he was talking about the Palm Springs, California McDonalds drive thru. TRULY, THEY MUST MUST MUST HAVE DAILY complaints regarding this...what is happening here...is it bad management, lack of something, what? He asked for corporate's number and they gave me the "owners" phone number...so we called & left a message asking for a return call..I know if I were in management, this would not fly. Not only did I NOT order everything that I had intended TO order, I did have the opportunity to order additional items.
Get with it corporate. Have your guy/gal fix their Palm Springs, CA drive thru. Shame...
