Philadelphia Parking Authority Informative - Ppa... Are You A Victim Of System?

Review by BleuBayoo32 on 2007-05-15
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- Does anyone in philadelphia have issues pertaining to the philadelphia parking authority. They seem to have their own way of lying, towing cars that don't exist, making you pay for tickets that were never given, paying off tow companies for cool cars to sell at auction, also.. Hmmm, oh, not giving you hearings, and not allowing you to be present for them..Losing your ticket payments...Oh, keep threatening to tow your car and do so 3 days before hearing...Arresting you when the ticket has been paid and holding you for 5 days in jail till they realized you were fine- my sister got that one! Yeah... The list could go on for days, but if anyone has this problem, let me know. Thanks.

Sounds like any major city to me. When I lived in DC I would get past due notices and collection letters for a car I never owned. The citations were issued in an area of the city I wouldn't go to even in daylight. In fact at the time I didn't even own a car.

I'd like to know how they manage to tow cars that don't exist.

Remember, you live in Philly, which while it may be in Eastern PA, is the center of corruption in our lovely state. You should call the governor, maybe fast Eddie will drive 100 MPH down the turnpike to help you out!
