Advantage-Dvorak Complaint - Charge for refueling when tank is FULL
PRAGUE -- Recently I went to Czech Republic and rented a car there with company called Dvorak. Renting and returning went smooth, but then of course something had to happen. While I parked the car in the garage for rental cars there was a guy who checks in all the coming in cars for damages, scratches, fuel etc.. He gave me a copy of check-in receipt that says that I returned the car with full tank which I refilled 200m before entering the garage. Few days later Dvorak charged me more than they supposed to. So, I called them up to find out what are the extra charges for and I find out quickly that they are for refilling the tank. I said to the rep over the phone that I have a receipt that I returned the car with Full tank, but that RUDE CZECH says that he isn't going to discuss it with me and if I want I can send them an email. Then he hangs up. So I sent few emails to Dvorak which is an affiliate of Advantage Car Rental, but nobody has given me any answer so far. Advantage 800 number is not working at all. Complete lack of customer service what so ever. Very bad picture for Advantage Car Rental is created by Czech's. Complete degradation of their brand and customer life time value is entirely avoided. This is how I feel about my experience: "We can charge this sucker because he is going to leave anyways, we won't address his complaints and he is going to give up" - beautiful marketing strategy. Keep it up.
