Warnock Ford, Morristown NJ Complaint - NO Customer Service/Faulty Vehicle
MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY -- When purchasing a new vehicle based on reliability, one would expect to go for a year or so without a major repair, right? Wrong. Within three months of owning a 2007 Ford Fusion, part of the back axle fell out and needed to be replaced due to RUST and FAULTY CRAFTSMANSHIP. The mechanic showed me the parts and it was bad. Ford's own mechanic said this was shocking to see on a new vehicle. As a consumer, it's frightening to have something rusted on a new vehicle. Especially a part, that could have caused a major accident, including death.
The dealership has hung up on me, yelled at me, and continuously promised me things like a free rental car, free Ford inspection of the car, and a free inspection from a mechanic of my choice, but they haven't come through with one and refuse to put anything in writing. They also told me that the manufacturer is to blame and I should contact them.
I've gone through a whole loop with Ford Motor's customer service and they've directed me back to the dealership each time I call. They've sent several reports to the dealership, all of which the dealership claims to not have received, but the customer service reps can see that the service manager and sales manager have read and deleted them.
Warnock Ford of Morristown does not treat their customers with respect once a sale is final. I have been yelled at and threatened by Warnock staff due to my complaints about something that was wrong with the car at the time of purchase. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and hope Ford's profits continue to plummet.
