Diamond Motors Complaint - Liars - 1997 BMW 540I

Review by classybmw on 2007-05-20
BELLFLOWER,, CALIFORNIA -- Diamond Motors is a very dishonest dealership, they promise you anything you want just to get you to sign and then they don't even kept their promise. I purchased a car from Diamond Motors, the second day I had it, I notice drops of oil, I called then and they told me to bring the car in and I did. They promised to fix it and did not do anything to the car but top off the oil. My deposit he refuses to give the whole amount back, and they were the ones that did not keep their word.

So it sounds like you were able to return the car but they kept your deposit?

Question: Didnt you notice the puddle of oil beneath the car at the dealership before purchasing the car?

Once you drive off the lot, you're stuck, unless it's a new car, which I doubt from reading your post. Take the car to a mechanic you trust and get a diagnosis. If it's a substantial repair, you can decide whether to pursue a small claims action, but in all probability, the dealer will say they didn't know anything was wrong with the vehicle, which will be very difficult to refute.

only cars sold by private parties are sold as-is. unless stated in paperwork.
