Weddingbandsfast.com Complaint - Worst service ever! - Wedding rings

Review by DSM on 2007-05-24
In early March I ordered our two wedding bands from Weddingbandsfast.com. Never has a company been so poorly named. After a month and multiple emails, online chats and phone calls, I received the rings. Of course, they were not what I ordered. The quality of the rings was great but not what I wanted. So a week later I sent them back. Now two months later and many more emails, I still do not have my rings and the wedding date is approaching. They have ceased answering their phone and do not respond to the emails. Once the live chat person came on and as soon as I gave him my order number he disconnected me. Avoid this web site and aggravation. Truly the worst service I've ever received from either a click or brick store.

Next time go to a jewelry store. You can see what you are buying and have your rings correctly sized.

You should have gone to a store, not bought them online.

Let me point out that a bonafide business should deliver to their customers whether the rest of us think that customer should have made the purchase another way. Online businesses are booming and you can buy practically anything you want online. No, it's not suggested, but if you do, then the company should deliver what they promise. Plus, look at the hunderds of complaints about stores that people visited and screwed them over i.e. Best Buy, Home Depot, Ashley Furniture...seems like it almost doesn't matter if you order in person or online...

FYI, my fiancé and I bought our wedding rings online and they're absolutely beautiful. It's really more common than you think, number1.
DSM, I am so so sorry to hear about that! I can only recommend the site we went through, which is irishcelticjewels.com, and that's probably a useful suggestion only if you too are planning an Irish wedding. They are most definitely fast, should you be interested. My ring traveled from Dublin to my door in three days.

Nice website Sarah May,some of those rings looked nice.
My Wedding was outside, and the reception was at an Irish pub. Many many Pints that day.

My Grandfather(from Ireland)used to make Celtic odds and ends(necklaces, other jewelry)

Gasp! I hope you've got some of them around still to pass down generations. :) Thank you for sharing that!

Thanks to Sarah May and rhondam718732 for their understanding and advice. Poor service is poor service and online business is the way of now and the future. Not unbelievable that wedding bands are bought online. Both Ice.com and Blue Nile sell more rings than Zales. Quality $ for $ is better too. Would I spend $10k on an online engagement ring, no I wouldn't. But somebody would because that's what Costco.com is offering.

" Not unbelievable that wedding bands are bought online"

It is unbeliveable,to me...(my opinion)

I think my wife would have killed me if I bought our rings online without actually seeing them up close.(unless it was from the Irish/Celtic website maybe).
