IDEARC Complaint - Incorrect listing in yellow pages
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Verizon/idearc published our fax number as the number to call for our business, thus our customers are calling the fax and getting no response. After listening to numerous recordings, I reached a Verizon/idearc employee who told me I needed to speak with another department, after holding several minutes, I reached another representative who said I needed to speak to another department. This number was the number I first called with all the recordings. I stayed on the phone for twenty-five minutes and got no where. After faxing my sales representative (I had called his office and left a recording and called his cell phone two times and left a message) I finally received a call from him. He found the incorrect listing and said he would call his boss. She calls me back later and said there is nothing they can do. Another telephone company gave them the wrong information. The other telephone company said they did not. I advertised with Verizon/Idearc and they will not take responsibility for their error. Shame on them!! I wonder what they will think when I don't pay them.
