Audiogalaxy Complaint - music sharing - Music Media

Review by beejay42 on 2002-04-30
SMITHLAND, KENTUCKY -- I joined Audiogalaxy and they installed a sallilite where songs are swapped between computers. I uninstalled the sallilite and found out they were continuing to send songs to other people from my computer.
I went to search in files and folders and found them listed there.
I tried to delete Audiogalaxy, but a box came up and said that I was denied access.
I can not get them off my computer.
They continue to send songs to others from my computer.
I have written but to no avail.
They have no right to just take over my computer.
Since the program did come with an uninstall, any one would think it was uninstalled, when all along they are still running their program without your permission.
They have a box that comes up with a "go" on it to get to their web-site.
I clicked that and it went to desktop. When I look to see what they are doing, I get a glimpse of the words 29 files -or- proxy.
Can anyone help me get them off my computer?
Thank you and I'm sorry this is so long.

Go into the registry and delete the audiogalaxy key.

Have you ever thought of transferring all your music to "My Downloads" and then move them to Window Media Player or Real? It seems as if you have an empty site, they might leave you alone. Also, Turn them in as Spam or something like that. I try to put stuff in my Black List, but I can't find it on my new Comcast. Good luck to you. Gee, computers are a pill1
