DOUGLAS, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a Hawkeye Spa just over a year ago and I am so glad I did. I have read several bad reviews about this company and the hot tubs they manufacture so I wanted to add my two cents. First, never purchase a spa via internet, find a local dealer. You will save yourself the headache. Every time I read review about a tub just delivered and it is leaking I cringe. Hawkeye includes paperwork stating that the tub MAY leak...why?...because during delivery it is possible that something may loosen. It is simply stated...check all connections before you put water in it! And.....please save yourself the hassle and hire an electrician...I have a friend that insisted on wiring his spa and he fried the circuit board and had to pay because Hawkeye also states that a licensed electrician should be used!
Plus, chances are buying from the internet will not guarantee your warranty!!!! (Friends learned the hard way.)
