US Airways Complaint - US Air not responsible for bag damage
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- On May 25th I flew from Chicago to Phoenix, then on to Vancouver, Canada. When my baggage came off the turnstile it was missing a wheel, the bottom corner crushed, and about a dozen tears all over.
When I took it to the US Air representitive, he pointed to a small notice on his desk: "Not responsible for damaged bags."
My bag looked like it was dragged from Chicago by the plane's wheels. It was three months old; I paid $200 for it and it is now junk.
It wouldn't be so bad except for the US Air person saying "Look at our notice... There's nothing we can do."
US Air is short for UnSAtIsfied customeR.
