T-Mobile Complaint - Billing Address Error
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I called customer care to troubleshoot keypad problems on my phone. They agreed to exchange my phone. The billing and mailing address they have on file is my son's, not mine. I told them to send the phone to my address. They said they had to charge me a fee to send to my address. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I found my service contract which shows I gave them my home address and not my son's. The supervisor said I had to go to the office where I purchased the phone and make the correction. At this time I'm thinking, the mistake was not mine. My husband and son have the same name with different middle initials. Obviously the ss#s are different. The addresses are different. My frustration is that the mistake was on T-Mobile's part and now I have to take time out of my day to try to correct their problem and I still don't have a properly working phone.
