Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint - Arrogant and inept customer service
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I have 5 mortgages + several accounts with Chase and I have been battling the bureaucracy instituted by the Chase Assumptions Department, which sits on applications and does not provide any information except when nagged. When I saw that things did not move, I involved the Executive Resolution Group, who behaved in an arrogant and inept way. The individual complained to me that I had not been prompt enough in responding to Chase!!! Then he hung up on me in the middle of an exchange "because I was not polite enough with him". Later, I contacted this individual by e-mail and he responded that the next day an analyst would be put on my application and would contact me. Nothing has happened after 16 days, not even a response to the e-mail I sent a few days ago. It is not clear to the Chase employees involved that we, the customers, are paying their salaries. I am also wondering whether anyone at Chase is listening. Therefore, I am strongly considering to take my business elsewhere.
