Ashley Furniture Complaint - Still No Furniture - Bedroom Furniture
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- We ordered furniture on April 15th and were told of an estimated delivery date of May 8th. At the time of purchase they told us that it could come before that date or after. May 7th came and I still haven't received any calls from them, afraid I have been forgotten about we call and ask if they can give us an update. I was told May 24th the furniture would be loading the truck. So I figure what is two more weeks. Around May 22 we call again. The furniture should be ready May 29th. But if we call back tomorrow that could change again. Does it really take that long to make furniture? We keep going back and forth with the people. Finally we ask for our money back. We were told we can't get our money back. What? I haven't received furniture, you have had my money for 6 weeks, and I can't get a refund? If we wait until 30 days after the initial delivery date we can get a discount, free delivery, and if we want we can come out and reselect furniture. Why the hell would I reselect? So I can wait another two months? I leave for vacation on the 15th, and you know that is when they will want to deliver it! I am sleeping on a mattress in the middle of my floor with my clothes on the ground (I already gave my furniture away). I just hope I eventually get my furniture or at least my money back!
