LetsTalk.com Complaint - Did not live up to its' promise
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- I have ordered a phone through LetsTalk.com and they were offering a rebate of $100 per phone and I ordered two for a family plan. I submitted the rebate in Nov 2006 with all the necessary paperwork. I waited at least 8-10 weeks and still did not get the rebate. I called to find out and was told that they did not receive the form so I submitted another form. I followed with more emails and phone calls and just recently was told that I will get the rebate in 4 weeks (was told by a supervisor)
When I called again today, I was told by a Nicole that she cannot help me and that I have to take this up with /sprint and have to fill out the rebate form AGAIN. I had called Sprint in the past and was told that Letstalk.com is the one offering this rebate.
It is obvious that they do not want to deal with this even after I requested that since they offer this rebate they should then intervene ( even if Sprint is offering the rebate)
I could have ordered the SAME service and Same phone with SAME rebate through Costco and have the benefit of returning the phone with FULL replacement anytime as offered by COSTCO. However I gave let's talk a try with FULL DISAPPOINTMENT in return.
If my phone breaks down now, I would have to buy a new one. I cannot wait till my contract expires in 2 years.
