NEW BRITAIN, CONNECTICUT -- I bought my QOSIMO G35 8/1/06 system crashed 11/7/06 restore cd would give wrong machine! error. Brought it in for service at Manchester CompUsa store on 11/9/06 sent out for service, Toshiba found the hard drive to be bad and replaced it. Was ready for pickup 12/8/06 on 5/28/07 the same thing happened. PC crashed restore would not work gave wrong machine error. This time Compusa didn't even want to take in pc they wanted to so call call toshiba for me and would get back to me. and told me that if it were a software error that restore didn't work that they would not cover it. My question is if Toshiba created restore dvd not the customer how could I be liable for it not working and not compusa... not to mention the embarrassment I went threw with a client when the pc decided to take a nap for the 2nd time.. $3000.00 for laptop $349.99 for insurance being told that the fact recovery dvd don't work is not covered under there insurance priceless! I will never buy from COMPUSA again ever ...
