Holiday Inn Complaint - Bad Desk Clerks and Bad liars
ELMHURST, ILLINOIS -- Dear Priority club,
On April 21, 2007, I made arrangements for family members and myself to stay at the Elmhurst Holiday Inn Water Park, in Elmhurst Illinois, for my nieces 20th birthday. The hotel was not the "Water Park" it portrayed to be. First of all, the bathroom in the main lobby was broken, the swimming pool and spa were broken also. We where told the rooms were $169.00 per nite, but when we arrived the rooms were $189.99 per nite plus taxes. Once we paid for the rooms, we had to argue with one of the desk clerks regarding use of the water park. The desk clerk told us we could not purchase extra tickets to the water park on the hotel guest. Although our extra guest were not spending the nite. When we were making reservations we were told extra guest could participate in the Water Park, but only five people to a room. That's fine and we did not have a problem with that. But to get to the Holiday Inn and have to argue with the desk clerk for several minutes and constantly see people who were not staying at the Hotel
buy water park bands were a bit much! And to top it off, when we check out of the hotel, my family member was charged extra charges on his credit card.
What a hotel stay!
