RCA Complaint - DVD Recorder
NEW JERSEY -- Horrible experience dealing with RCA/Thomson Electronics on a brand new video recorder that would not work out of the box. Wait forever to get a "Customer Service" (what a misnomer!) representative on phone.
I returned faulty unit and have been promised a replacement in "7-10 business days" THREE TIMES. Each time I wait, nothing arrives, I call again. They tell me it's impossible to follow up with any individual to assure shipment. It's now 2.5 months since I returned faulty unit, and I'm about to give up and cut my losses. The time I have wasted on hold and the frustration dealing with RCA/Thompson leads me to recommend that readers buy from a different manufacturer.
