Home Depot Informative - Low Quailty Customers
PENNSYLVANIA -- I read many of the the complaints posted and must add my 3 cents. As an experienced contractor and consumer in many cities of this great nation, I shop in HD's all over the country - and I am amazed daily at the sheer stupidity, and rudeness of our citizenry. To leave a store without verifying the purchase, and then BLAME the vendor, weeks later is just plain stupid. To complain about waiting in line, yet say that self checkouts are a hassle is just plain stupid. To stand in front of merchandise and not be able to figure out how to read the label or calculate the cost of buying 2 or 3 - having to ask an employee how much is $11.98 times 3, and then ask for a quantity discount....its shameful.
We've all seen them...cellphone to their ear the entire time shopping, still talking on in a dull witted ridiculous waste of breath, conversing with the other phone party while shouting down and aisle for an employee to assist - uncaring that they are shouting or that they are interrupting another customer's conversation with that employee....the next generation of rude and stupid kids running amok, undisciplined and unsupervised...and these are the Americans (?) quickest and loudest in complaints. I've seen it a hundred times while trying to complete business. It makes me certain our society is doomed to rot and collapse, crushed by its own laziness and stupidity. We expect retailers and vendors to CAVE IN and to bend over backwards, to CATER MOST to people who exhibit the stupidest and rudest behaviors...thus reinforcing that behavior....rewarding the complainers.
And they do it again. And again. And again. It becomes hereditary.
How about putting on some deodorant before coming to a public place? How about NOT talking on your cell in a yell? How about NOT holding up the line by trying to lie and bluff and CURSE your way through a fraudulent return of used or abused or stolen merchandise? How about asking intelligent questions before completing a transaction for specially ordered goods? How many times have I seen people argue with home improvement store employees, saying it isn't their fault that they are too STUPID to know how to measure, or they changed their minds now that they received it, so it must be the retailers fault? How many times have you seen some slob put on an act, get all hyped up and angry, only trying to get money out of a retailer?
Retailers should be allowed to broadcast video of customer behavior, to show what really happens in a store, like "Worst Drivers" shows.
Yeah - many customer complaints are justified, but we have become a NATION OF STUPID COMPLAINERS instead of people who think before we purchase, and then try to have a civilized discussion to correct any errors that may happen.
So complain away...tell us in bad grammar and bad English and in lurid detail about how you have been so horribly mistreated and dreadfully wronged...
Is this what our brave men and women in uniform are fighting to protect? A nation of whining lying sleazy stupid complainers?
