On June 6, 2007, I called and ordered the Tata Sky Cable TV. Submitting my Visa number for them to use. I asked if I would be charged only AFTER the installation was complete and I was told
YES only after the installation is completed.
I checked my VISA bank account and by gosh I was not only charged for an installation which NEVER occurred which was to be at 7:30 PM on June 7th but I was TRIPLE charged.
I contacted the Team Leader at Tata Sky who’s name is Sawii. He told me he would DEFINITELY contact me on June 7th with details that my account would be rectified and confirmed my installation on June 7th. Needless to say I was never contacted.
On June 7th at 8:00 PM since the technicians had not arrived I AGAIN contacted Tata Sky and spoke with representative, Yogish. HE stated that no plans had been made for my installation and THEN proceeded to say that he would have someone contact me as to just WHEN the installation would occur. I said NO LATER than 8:00 AM on June 11th. STILL he could not confirm such a date. He only gave my reference number as: 1-484407629.
I also E mailed them on their web site ONLY NEVER to receive a reply!
How can ANY company TRIPLE charge one’s bank card account and still be in business in India.
I HIGHLY recommend that NO one ever does business with Tata Sky as they are most definitely totally disorganized, and obviously a fraudulent company.
Should anyone else be interested that has had similar experiences with Tata Sky Cable please contact me as I am fully prepared to start legal actions against them and would gladly commence a class action suit.
