Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - False Promotions, poor customer service
GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA -- I have been using Dell computers for a very long time. I am responsible for multiple computer systems for business'. I have not had any complaints that would make me not buy a Dell. While Dell computers has not had the problems of many other companies, the joint venture with CIT for Dell Financial Services was a huge mistake. I have financed with Dell on their 90 same as cash before. This time it was done through Dell Financial Services. UUUGGHHH, NEVER AGAIN! The promotional date ended on 1/1/07 I made the puchase on 9/22/06. I paid the amount borrowed in full on 11/22/06 well before the deadline. The check posted to my bank account on 11/27/06. No problem right?? WRONG. They are claiming that I owe them a finance charge! As I have written letters (no response from them), tried to speak to the non-English speaking customer service reps, this has gone on for more than 6 months now. I have numerous late charges and finance charges on finance charges that shouldn't have been applied in the first place. They call my place of employement at least 2 - 3 times per day. I am at the end of my rope. At this point... SHAME ON MICHAEL DELL !!! I have not been able to contact anyone that speaks English to help me with this. They must not have supervisors in India because I ask for one and they just act like I haven't spoken. They have hung up on me and just repeat the same can speech that was written for them. In today's climate of globalization and the insanity of outsourcing to other countries that can not communicate with customers, what are these companies trying to say to us... the consumers... basically they don't care if we have a legitimate issue they just want their money and hide behind their corporate walls. Don't buy from Dell and certainly DONT DO BUSINESS WITH CIT OR DELL FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!!!!!!
