Sears, Roebuck Informative - Air Conditioner Installation
PEMBROKE, NORTH CAROLINA -- In July of last year I entered into a contract to upgrade my air conditioning unit, because the unit I had was not cooking my home properly. I was told by the salesman that the unit I had was too large for my home, and recommended a smaller unit which was installed. After 1 day I realized that the new unit was not cooling the home at all, and I called Sears. They then brought out a new unit which was the same size that I originally had. I told them that it would be no better the my original unit. It has been almost a year, and the air conditioning contractor came to my house, and after checking the home. he determined that the 3.5 to unit that had been installed was not large enough to do what was expected. I contacted the Service Coordinator at Sears, and was told that they would see what they could do. I have still not heard form them, and right now it is 3:20 PM and the temperature in my home is 84 degrees. I have been getting the runaround for almost a year on this, and all I want is what the salesman promised me, and that was that my home would be cool all day.
I feel that for the amount of money that I am spending on this I should be able to expect satisfaction.
