Onsale.com Complaint - Rebate scam - backup storage rebate

Review by shaire99 on 2007-06-09
Onsale.com is the worst company I've dealt with on the internet in more than 10 years. This is the second time they have scammed me on one of their rebates. First time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and a year later bought from them again on what looked too good to be true. It was. After filling out tons of paperwork and cutting out product numbers, etc and making copies of everything, they simply have refused to send my rebate. After months, they don't even answer emails or return phone calls.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS.

When are people going to listen? THERE AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS A REBATE!!!! If they were serious about giving you a break on the price, it would be at point of sale, not on the false promise of getting money back. I am surprised they don't put those rebate offers on the internet, so they can tell you Bill Gates will send you a free copy of Windows Office along with your rebate. Rebates ain't gonna happen. Not yesterday, not today, and not tomorrow. Why should they send you money when they b*tch about losing so much money as it is?

i agree with ya starlord. if they cannot give the discount at point of sale, i ask myself, how bad do i need or want it? then i decide if i want to pay full price.
