Dairy Queen, Inc. Complaint - Lack of toppings - Reese's Cup Blizzard
AUSTIN, INDIANA -- When recently visiting the Dairy Queen in Austin, Indiana, I was very disappointed when I ordered and received my favorite treat, a Reese's Cup Blizzard. After the first bite, I noticed something was wrong, no bits! It tasted as if I were eating a vanilla ice cream with a slight peanut butter flavor. When I took it back to the window to complain that there wasn't anything in it, the girl working the window went and got the manager. The manager then told me that her "boss" told them that if they cut back on the amount of stuff they use, they'll get a raise. I couldn't believe it! She then went on to tell me that they couldn't put anymore Reese's in there unless I paid the forty cents for "extra toppings"! I told her I was not going to pay for what should have been in there in the first place! So, I insisted she make something else. So now, instead of the "forty cents" worth of toppings they would have "lost" by correctly making my blizzard, they lost the price of a milkshake and had to throw the blizzard away anyway! I will NEVER buy another blizzard from that Dairy Queen! This is something the corporation needs to look into. Especially if those people are not following the recipes sent down by the franchise!
