Travel Solutions - Travel To Go Complaint - Run As Fast As You Can Out The Door!!

Review by dr jack on 2007-06-11
LOOKOUT THEY ARE EVERYWHERE -- A total rip off and a complete waste of an evening to get the alleged "complimentary" trip. Impressive sales pitch lures you into believing that you are gaining excess to incredible discounts at luxury resorts. Nothing could be further from the truth. Checking on the alleged discounts rates proved that the rates offered don't even compare with Expedia and Travelocity. The prices offered come directly from the resorts themselves! In other words you can book directly with the resort and get the identical price.

If you fall for this pitch as we did read the fine print of your rescission option. You have 72 hours to save yourself.

And forget about the complimentary trip. There is nothing complimentary about it! IT'S ALL A RIP OFF.

Those so-called travel services are not such a great deal. If you try to cancel they ignore you. For giggles I went to a presentation. The free vacation was anything but free. Sure you get nights in a resort hotel/motel but it's no where near the local attractions. You have to pay transportation, food and processing fees. At least I got a free dinner.

These presentations are a great way to get some cheap amusement, and occasionally a decent dinner or free stay (meaning accomodations, nothing more). I have fun with them, and ask all they questions they don't want you to, push for answers and watch them squirm. It's kinda like toying with telemarketers; fun, at least for the person with the upper hand.

Fraud. These types of BS travel agents are a fraud. The strong arm of the law should be coming down on them soon. To Go Travel's presention should be video taped by an undercover expose on 60 minutes, Dateline or other crap presentations that are full of lies. I hope someone that is reading this can do something on national television and let people be warned. Help.

Have to agree with the posts! Not only did the cruise cost more than buying on-line but the $150 gas coupon was a complete rip-off. I took that as far as the BBB with no success. Calls/emails for vacation planning have gone unreturned.. but they sure call for the annual renewal fee!
I have searched for posts for this "club" before, and have had a hard time finding any hits. I wish I had seen this before I bought into what I thought was a discount travel club - when really it is just a fluffed up costly site. I spent WAY TOO much money on a nice brochure and a free cold drink!
