Sears Informative - Horrible Delivery
MISSISSAUGA -- I purchased a Jennair downdraft gas range and a Maytag 25 cft side by side refrigerator in April, 2007 for delivery in June, 2007. The finalized date was 8 June, 2007 for delivery and 9 June, 2007 for installation. The appliances arrived on 8 June, 2007 morning. After opening the fridge from the box, the delivery man noticed a dent on the new fridge and did not want to deliver. The stove was delivered, but not the downdraft model. My old stove was taken away before I realized it was the wrong model. After calling Sears I was told that they will give the gas connection to the wrong stove and I could use it until the correct stove was delivered the following week. June 15 came, and guess what !!!
They delivered the wrong fridge this time and the correct stove. I have called Sears now and waiting for their response. I will write again after I hear from Sears Canada. Their delivery logistics sucks. They have warehouse in one city, call center in another city and no one wants to take the responsibility in Customer service to see that an immediate fix can be arranged.
