Comcast Corporation Complaint - Complaint against Comcast.
MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have been a Comcast Customer for 2 months and have had to add them to my speed dial because of their poor product and customer service. I am a working Mom and It really annoys me that I have to call Comcast several times per week when I finally get a moment to myself.
Strike 1 of the Triple Play: Phone. The people who I call tell me that they hear an echo and it is so distracting that no one wants to talk to me. Also, since the moment our new number was turned on, I receive 4 to 8 calls a day from solicitors trying to sell me magazines, do surveys, donate money for the
fireman's ball. You name it. They alway call during dinner or when my little one's are napping. Thanks Comcast for selling out our number and taking away our privacy. I have signed up for the no call list but it takes a month to take effect. The feature that Comcast is supposed to provide that prevents callers with blocked numbers from getting through.......doesn't work on our service. I am still waiting for the promised "Call back" on that one.
Strike 2: Cable. I haven't had ON DEMAND all week. Apparently they are waiting for parts to come in to fix a server. The customer service rep told me that I shouldn't be upset because I don't actually pay for ON DEMAND and that Comcast gives it to me for free. SURE they do. Secondly, it took them 2 months to bury the cable line. I had to call 9 times. They spray painted half the neighborhood 3 times but wouldn't come out to dig. They tromped through our next door neighbors Lilly's and actually spray painted an orange arrow on his 70 year old oak tree.
Strike 3: Internet. I have had to call twice to have it reset.
Strike 4: I have had to call 4 times to have my bill adjusted. We were overbilled twice. They try to blame us for them overbilling us. One rep actually insinuated that we must have changed our service.....even though clearly there have never been any changed services.....only an increase in fares.
Unfortunately, I am stuck with them. We cant get Satellite in our neighborhood and Comcast has a monopoly.
