McKinney dodge Complaint - Took deposit to hold car, No Refund
MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- I found a car for sale on the internet from McKinney Dodge. Based on pictures and description I asked McKinney Dodge to hold the vehicle for me until I could fly from Sparks, NV to McKinney, TX to see the vehicle in person. I agreed to a fully refundable deposit of $500. I have this in writing via an email and per several phone and in person conversations with Craig Randolph. I have 2 additional witnesses that overheard this stated as well. After seeing the vehicle I notified McKinney Dodge I was not interested in the vehicle. Craig agreed over the phone to refund the deposit. When I received my credit card statement in the mail, I found the $500 deposit had not been refunded. I contacted Craig and he said they would refund the deposit. After no refund 3 weeks later I contacted my credit card company and asked them to investigate. McKinney Dodge is now refusing to refund the deposit for no services or goods rendered. I want my deposit refunded immediately. I want McKinney Dodge to honor their word that was given to me in writing and via the phone. Please Help!
